On Spiritual Transformation

Here is an extraordinary quote:

Spiritual transformation is one of the great mysteries of Creation. In the furnace at the root of things, something is forged, something fragile and elusive. Out of that dark [fire] there emerges a still, small voice of praise, speaking not of power but of life and active love.
