Dark underestimation of ourselves

I believe that we all have this dark underestimation
of ourselves. Sometimes it is masked as arrogance,
overestimation, superiority, but underneath the
brashness the problem is insecurity and only unqualified,
unmerited, unconditional love can assuage it.
