Time enough?

Time gently flutters against the backdrop of our lives
Seducing us into thinking that there is still time
To right the wrongs in the world
To forgive and be forgiven
To love and be loved
To learn and to teach

To give and receive joy
To see and create beauty
To listen and to be heard
To hold and to be held
To enforce and keep peace
But it is only an illusion, a manmade concept.
Because, in truth, the only time we have is now.
